Notre Dame Elementary School has a long and proud history of serving the students of Morinville and surrounding area since 1978. Some of our original teachers and support staff continue to serve the community, they have helped to maintain a history and a spirit of service that all of us strive to offer. Notre Dame is a Christ centred community of learners focused on the teaching and learning of academic, emotional, physical, and spiritual, skills and attitudes.

We have worked to build a Christ Centred culture that is safe and caring. We are proud of the academic success of our students which comes from a program that is based upon monitoring and ongoing assessment of students, a commitment to proven instructional strategies, collaborative team work, intervention and support and home-school partnerships.

We hope that this web site will be useful in communicating day to day information about our school and information regarding staff and programs. We welcome any feed back from our public regarding our site. Please do not hesitate to call us or drop in for a visit.

Message To The Community

On behalf of your Parent Council, I welcome you to Notre Dame Elementary School's web site. On behalf of Council I would like to extend a personal invitation for all parents to attend your council's meetings. Meeting are held the first Thursday of each month at 6:45 p.m. in our school library.

Your children can only benefit from your involvement, so please always feel free to attend our council meetings.
